Hello everybody, my name is Edgar Gonzalez. I am just an average person who has a passion for health and fitness. I have been lifting weights since I was 20 years old and before that, I was doing muay thai and kickboxing for approximately 12 years.
I have always loved working out; however, I never took my diet and health serious enough in order for me to actually see my results from my workouts or training sessions. Although I would lift weights and do cardio 5x a week; I ate like crap and my body started to look like it would blow up at any second.
Then on the 25th of March of 2017, I got on the scale and it read 233 LBS!!! I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe that I weighed that much. I felt embarrassed and ashamed.
It was on that day that I decided to finally take control of my health. I would take my diet serious and take control of my food craving demons. Since then I have lost 50 pounds while getting stronger at the gym. I have never felt physically and mentally better.
I am starting this blog hoping people will be inspired to become healthier by talking about my weight loss journey. I will be honest and straightforward with my diet, workouts, setbacks, and mental challenges that I went thru over the last year. I want to show people that IT IS POSSIBLE to accomplish your health and fitness goals once you decide to achieve them.
